A tourist bus has veered off a bridge in northern Italy and plunged several metres into the Po River. Authorities have confirmed the 55-year-old driver, who was on board the vehicle alone, died at the scene. Local media have reported that witnesses saw the grey bus break through the barriers of the Piazza Vittorio Vento bridge in Turin before falling into shallow waters below. The incident is now under investigation.
